TVNewser broke the news on Dec. 30 and now it’s official: “William J. Bennett, radio talk show host and former U.S. secretary of education, will join CNN as a regular contributor to offer analysis and insight about politics and culture for various programs throughout the network, it was announced today by CNN/U.S. President Jon Klein.”
The press release includes a curiously-worded sentence: “Bennett will be one of CNN’s political commentators as part of the network’s continuing effort to bring a broad range of perspectives to its viewers.”
“We look forward to his candid and expressive contribution to our broadcasts,” Klein says…
