Former Yahoo News anchor Bianna Golodryga has joined CBS News as a correspondent based in New York.

Golodryga’s first assignment as a CBSer was this morning reporting from her hometown of Houston, covering the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

Golodryga joined Yahoo News in 2014 from ABC News, just as site began beefing up its TV news-like content. With Yahoo’s sale to AOL earlier this year, there have been, and will continue to be, staff changes at the combined company now called Oath.

Before Yahoo, Golodryga spent four years as co-anchor of Good Morning America weekend and the network’s business correspondent. Golodryga began her career in television as a bureau producer at CNBC in 2001.

Golodryga will also continue as a contributor for CNN.
