More good news for “CBS Sunday Morning”: the Charles Osgood-hosted show posted its best Q1 delivery in total viewers since 1994 during the first quarter of 2014. It was the second best Q1 for “CBS Sunday Morning” since the advent of people meters in 1987.
The program was the top Sunday morning newscast for the quarter, averaging 6.14 million viewers and 1.6/08 in the A25-54 demographic. The show was up +5% in viewers compared to the year-ago quarter.
Last week, “CBS Sunday Morning” delivered more than six million viewers for the second consecutive week and for the 10th time this season.
