Barbara Walters: ‘If You Have Curiosity, Nothing Gets Stale’

By Jordan Chariton

Barbara Walters recently spoke to Fusion about the keys to succeeding in TV news.

“If you have curiosity nothing gets stale for you – there’s always a new story, there’s always a new person, there’s always a new scandal,” Walters said. “It’s always new and fresh – and when it no longer is that’s when you should think about doing something else,” Walters says.

Walters emphasizes the old adage of getting your foot in the door and not putting yourself above being a coffee runner on your way to the top.
