Arianna Huffington Hosts TV Newsers at Women in Media Luncheon

By A.J. Katz

Yesterday, Thrive Global founder and chief executive officer Arianna Huffington and the American Heart Association’s chief exec Nancy Brown together hosted a luncheon for women in media. The event included a conversation about AHA’s Go Red For Women, an organization whose mission is to educate women about the dangers of cardiovascular disease, a disease which is the No. 1 killer of women. The luncheon, which was held at Huffington’s home in New York, brought together women from various media outlets to discuss the correlation between stress and heart disease and the role that sleep and well-being play in “helping women live their best lives.” TV newsers in attendance included Norah O’Donnell (CBS News), Rebecca Jarvis (ABC News), Stephanie Ruhle (MSNBC) and Sheinelle Jones (NBC News).
