April 2015 Ratings: Fox News Grows in Prime

Fox News was the third most-watched cable network in April, behind TBS and TNT, but ahead of ESPN and USA. FNC also experienced prime time (8-11pmET) growth: up +2 percent in viewers and up +1 percent in A25-54 demo.

The ratings for April 2015 (Nielsen Live + Same Day data):

  • Primetime (Mon-Sun): 1,642,000 total viewers / 299,000 A25-54
  • Total Day (Mon-Sun): 986,000 total viewers / 185,000 A25-54

Outnumbered, which marks its 1-year anniversary today (more later from Brian, who visited the set today), is up +24 percent in both viewers and the demo. Happening Now, which follows at 1pmET, has been No. 1 for 90 consecutive months and was up +17 percent in viewers and up +10 percent in the demo.

Special Report with Bret Baier at 6pmET, is the only non-primetime program to be ranked in the top 5 programs overall in both total viewers and the demo.

April, 2015 marks 160 consecutive months at No. 1 in total viewers in both total day and prime time, dating back to January 2002. The network has the top 14 cable news programs in total viewers and 9 out of 10 in the demo.
