Anderson Cooper to Unveil ‘CNN Heroes’ throughout the Day

Starting at 1pmET, Anderson Cooper will announce one of the Top 10 2009 CNN Heroes every hour until 11pmET when CNN will air a special entitled, “Change the World, You Vote, CNN Heroes.” The announcements will also appear on HLN and CNNI.

Each of the top 10 honorees — who were selected from over 9,000 submissions — will receive $25,000 and a ticket to the “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute” gala in Hollywood, CA, which will air at 9pmET on Thanksgiving (Nov. 26). At that event, the Hero of the Year will be named and awarded another $100,000.
