Anderson Cooper Sued Over Firehouse Fall

By Chris Ariens

While Anderson Cooper was back in Haiti this week, an interior designer in New York sued the CNN anchor claiming she fell 17 feet through a hole in a firehouse he’s converting into his home.

Killian O’Brien says in her suit that she plunged through an uncovered hole that had once held the station’s fire pole. O’Brien is also suing the developer of the building.

The accident happened in September, the same month Cooper closed on the $4.3M property. News of the sale was first reported by the New York Post late last month.

The firehouse in the Greenwich Village neighborhood was built in 1906.
