Anderson Cooper gave props to Jim Cantore Thursday night for his “reporter Riverdance” earlier in the week on The Weather Channel.
Reporting from the College of Charleston Tuesday night, Cantore kneed a college student in the stomach after the student came running at him during his live shot.
“That was intrepid reporter, I’m guessing Kung Fu expert, Jim Cantore of The Weather Channel. Executed a perfect live shot defense, it’s like a reporter Riverdance, just the leg moves, really nothing else.”
Cooper also called out the college student: “A classic knee jerk reaction. See there’s the knee, and there’s the jerk on the left.”
He then turned back the clock to 2008, showing his own live shot from Hurricane Ike, where a guy in a chicken suit joined him.
