Anderson Cooper, Kathy Griffin Set to Host CNN’s New Years For Seventh Straight Year

By Jordan Chariton

Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin will be reunited once more on CNN. They are set to co-host CNN’s New Year’s Eve live from Times Square for the seventh straight year, TVNewser has learned.

Over the years, the duo has left audiences with many memorable moments, like last year, when Griffin engaged in some good-natured sexual shenanigans, recoiling Cooper back in utter embarrassment, and back in 2009, when Griffin dropped the “F” bomb. And 2008, Griffin heckled a crowd member who shouted at her, saying, “Why don’t you get a job buddy. You know, I don’t go to your job and knock the d—s out of your mouth.”

How will 2014 arrive on CNN? Stay tuned.
