And Then 'The List' Was Destroyed

“The List,” the document with the 100 names of players who tested positive for steroids? Yep, destroy it and all the other information seized during the Bay Area Laboratory Co-operative raids of 2003.

“We have always believed that the seizures were improper and violated the rights of the players [and the players union],” union executive director Michael Weiner told The New York Times. “The courts have agreed. This is a significant victory for our members.”

We’ll never have proof whether Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez, Sammy Sosa, David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, and so many others took steroids. Well except for Bonds.

Mr. Scapegoat’s positive tests will be saved to use at his trial, which begins in March in San Francisco. But the rest of you guys: yeah, off the hook.

Where’s WikiBaseballLeaks when you need it?
