An old Fox News promotional ad that has a mean-spirited take on the network’s long-running ratings dominance is making the rounds online today:
Regular readers of TVNewser know that Fox News has been number one in the cable news ratings for 10 years running, not seven. The ad, which was created by the network’s marketing department for trade magazines and other national publications in 2009, was covered on TVNewser when it originally ran. It has been up at FoxNews.com/number1 since then.
