This morning on New Day, co-anchor Alisyn Camerota checked back in with some Trump supporters she’d interviewed throughout the campaign. They talked about Trump’s surprising win, his administration picks so far, and media coverage that would make Anthony Crispino proud.
A woman named Paula claimed “3 million illegals voted” in California.
Camerota wondered where Paula heard that.
“From the media. Some of it from CNN, I believe,” said Paula who went on to say some illegals voted because Pres. Obama said they could.
“Did you hear President Obama say that illegal people could vote?” Camerota asked.
“Google it,” another woman suggested. So Camerota did and found a report that Fox Business Network “deceptively edited a clip of Obama to argue that the president encouraged illegal immigrants to vote.”
