Al Roker Entertainment, Business Wire Will Develop Video Content

Al Roker Entertainment will collaborate with Business Wire to develop new digital video projects. The content will aim to tap into Business Wire’s media analytics and social monitoring tools, spotlighting trending news.

“We are always looking for interesting partners in entertainment and business,” Roker said. “The Business Wire brand provides access to breaking news well suited for compelling video content for social and digital platforms and this is one of ARE’s specialties.”

The relationship formed after Roker and Business Wire crossed paths at the 2015 SXSW interactive festival in Austin, Texas and decided to consider joining forces.

“We have always had our finger on the pulse of business news and emerging trends through our wire distribution and media monitoring services. The new video platforms we are developing will deliver insights into what we see driving digital and social conversations, especially those focused on the vibrant startup community,” Business Wire CEO Cathy Baron Tamraz said.
