NBC News is undoubtedly looking to shift gears after what was a rough weekend. Perhaps one way of doing this is to unveil a new, spruced up video open and graphics for its flagship evening newscast NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt.
Meet the Press with Chuck Todd tweaked its intro earlier in the month, and went on to win the the Sunday show race that week both in total viewers and the key news demo. Can Nightly follow that trend after losing the first two weeks of the new season to World News Tonight? (in total viewers).
