After Losing Her Suitcase, Savannah Guthrie Secures a New Outfit in 16 Minutes

Savannah Guthrie ran into a small snafu on her way to the “Make a Difference Day” awards lunch this week: due to a lost suitcase, she arrived in D.C. without her clothes for the event. So what’s a “Today” show anchor to do?

“I went with Megan, one of our employees here at NBC, and Jenna Bush Hager. We fanned out across the department store. Jenna went to the shoe department, Megan and I went to the dresses. You were timing us — thanks for the extra pressure,” Guthrie said to Matt Lauer on “Today” afterwards. “Bought a dress, got the shoes, got in the car, 16 minutes. And we made it on time to the event.” Watch:
