Add Touré to Growing List of MSNBC Hosts With Tax Issues

Touré Neblett, a co-host of MSNBC’s “The Cycle” joins Melissa Harris-PerryAl Sharpton and former host Joy-Ann Reid as MSNBC personalities in trouble with the IRS.

The National Review reports that  Touré owes more than $59,000 in taxes, according to public records. New York reportedly issued a state tax warrant to the MSNBC host and his wife in 2013 for nearly $47,000. Six months later, the couple was billed another $12,000 in back taxes.

Ex-MSNBC host Reid, who is now the managing editor of theGrio.com, reportedly has a tax warrant against her for nearly $5,000. Her show was canceled back in February.

Meanwhile, Harris-Perry and Sharpton owe significantly more. Harris-Perry and her husband James were hit with an IRS tax lien of about $70,000. And records reviewed by the New York Times show there are more than $4.5 million in current state and federal tax liens against Sharpton and his for-profit businesses.
