the Hollywood Reporter says: “When the call came Wednesday, ABC News correspondent David Wright was sitting in a dentist’s chair in London. He was in Beirut by 8 p.m., so quickly that the Novocain had just worn off by the time he landed and he and producer Nasser Atta weren’t able to bring many supplies.

‘It’s going fine, but it’s been a very busy day as you can imagine, and the explosions are continuing even late into the night here,’ Wright said Thursday from Beirut. ‘We’re pretty much the two of us working with a local crew, and we came here at the drop of a dime, so we don’t have things like flak jackets that we would normally have.’
