ABC to air special 20/20 with Charlie Sheen interview

CBS’s loss is ABC’s gain.

You won’t see Charlie Sheen in a new episode of “Two and a Half Men” this week — or maybe ever.  But you will see him on “20/20” Tuesday night.

ABC News correspondent Andrea Canning, who’d been texting the star in recent days about the personal and very public drama which lead to his hit CBS show being shut down last week, got an interview with Sheen which will be a part of a one hour “20/20” to air Tuesday at 10pmET. And ABC will get the most of the interview airing excerpts on Monday and Tuesday’s “Good Morning America.”
