ABC Orders New Season of ‘WWYD’

ABC News has ordered a new season of John Quiñones’ “Primetime” series “What Would You Do?”, TVNewser has learned. ABC confirms that the network has ordered a full season and that episodes are already in production, though air-dates have not been scheduled.

The summer run of “What Would You Do?,” which was comprised entirely of re-aired segments, won its Friday 9pm time slot in total viewers and the 18-49 and 24-54 demos, averaging 3.9 million total viewers on Fridays and 4.5 million on Tuesdays. Fridays it averaged a 1.3 rating/share among adults 18-49 and 1.5/5 among adults 25-54. On Tuesdays it averaged a 1.7 rating/5 share among adults 18-49 and a 2/5 among adults 25-54. The program posted big gains for the network year-to-year in the Friday time slot as well.
