Two months after CBS Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith underwent a colonoscopy on live television, Sam Champion of ABC’s Good Morning America is going to have a skin cancer removed live on the program Wednesday May 12. Champion was found to have basal cell carcinoma on his shoulder after a recent examination and biopsy. The cancer is very common, and is rarely dangerous assuming it gets treated.
