ABC News’ Gio Benitez En Route to Bali for Honeymoon

By A.J. Katz

It was a life-changing weekend for ABC News Correspondent Gio Benitez, as the network’s popular personality married boyfriend Tommy DiDario this past Saturday.

The couple tied the knot in front of family, friends and colleagues at the Walton House in Miami. According to Benitez’ Instagram account, the duo has already embarked on a post-wedding journey, making a pit stop in Sydney, Australia before spending their honeymoon in Bali.

“It’s so special to see how excited our friends and family have been about this wedding,” Benitez said in a statement to People. “It truly is a celebration of love –- our own, and what love means in their own lives. We are so moved and humbled to celebrate together.”

Other ABC News journalists, including Martha Raddatz, Rebecca Jarvis, Kendis Gibson, Cecilia Vega and Alex Perez, along with Sam Champion attended the ceremony.

MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts was also present, as evidenced by his Instagram account:
