More U.S. journalists are finding themselves caught in the middle of the chaos in Cairo.

ABC News reports a group of Egyptian men carjacked a crew from ABC and threatened to behead them today. Correspondent Brian Hartman, cameraman Akram Abi-hanna and two other ABC News employees were surrounded on a road from Cairo’s airport to the downtown area. ABC News spokesman Jeffrey Schneider said, “We are assessing the security situation literally on a minute to minute basis. Our priority is to ensure the safety of all of our staff in the field.”

Meanwhile, TIME reports, CBS News chief foreign correspondent Lara Logan has been detained along with her crew by Egyptian police outside Israel’s embassy in Cairo. Says a CBS News spokesperson, “For security reasons CBS will not be commenting on, or revealing in any way, CBS personnel activity, movement or location.”
