The ABC News debate, which both Democratic candidates agreed to earlier this month, has been set for April 16 in Philadelphia at 8:00pm. The debate will be anchored by Charles Gibson and George Stephanopoulos.
ABC saw huge ratings for its most recent round of debates, back-to-back Democratic and Republican debates in January.
There is still no confirmation on a possible CBS debate, speculated to take place April 19 in North Carolina.

ABC News, the National Constitution Center and WPVI-TV will host a Democratic Presidential Candidate debate in Philadelphia on Wednesday, April 16th. The live 90-minute debate, moderated by ABC News anchors Charles Gibson and George Stephanopoulos, will air from 8-10 PM ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.
The debate between Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will be held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. The format of the debate and information about media credentialing will be announced at a later date.
“Coming just days before the critical Pennsylvania primary, the debate will give voters across the state and throughout the country an opportunity to hear the candidates talk in depth about the important issues facing the nation,” said ABC News President David Westin.
“The National Constitution Center is pleased and proud to host the Democratic Presidential Candidates debate in Historic Philadelphia. Just a few feet from Independence Hall — the very place our nation was formed — ‘We the People’ will be reminded of the importance of active citizenship and the power of every vote,” said National Constitution Center President and CEO Joseph M.
