ABC Announces Sept. 20 Memorial Service For Peter Jennings

“There will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of Peter Jennings on Tuesday, September 20th at 11:00am at Carnegie Hall in New York,” ABC News announced this afternoon.

“In addition to invited guests, a limited number of free tickets will be available for the general public on a first-come, first-served basis at the Carnegie Hall Box Office from 8-9:30am on the day of the memorial service, Tuesday, September 20. (Limit 2 tickets per person.) For general public ticket information only, call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800 during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.

ABC News will feed excerpts of the service to news organizations after it concludes. Details of the feed with be distributed prior to the service.”
