Bloomberg Politics Unveils the ‘ScrumZone’

Waiting in hallways for a chance to throw a question or two at a presidential candidate doesn’t usually make compelling television. But with a dash of SportsCenter, Bloomberg Politics has unveiled the “ScrumZone,” a tongue-in-cheek highlights show that “takes you inside the media scrum and provides a thorough presentation of scrum news, highlights, and analysis.”

As The Washington Post‘s Erik Wemple described it, “Matt Negrin and Griffin Hammond use video and jock-talk to rate the skills of reporters in penetrating these mic-heavy groups at the South Carolina Freedom Summit in Greenville.”
