ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” was the top-rated public affairs program among the key A25-54 demo on Jan. 25. However, CBS’ “Face the Nation” finished first in total viewers.
“This Week” was down -1% in total viewers but up +23% in the demo, compared to the same day last year. “Face the Nation” was up +6% in viewers and down -17% in the demo. NBC’s “Meet the Press” finished second in both viewers and the demo, up +1% and +6% respectively.
“Fox News Sunday” was down -11% in viewers and down -21% the demo, while combining with cable replays for 3.6 million viewers. Replays on FNC averaged a combined 2.48 million total viewers and 545,000 in the demo.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 75% of the country.
