’60 Minutes’ SEAL Interview Most-Watched Non-Football Show Last Week

By Chris Ariens

Sunday’s “60 Minutes” which devoted its entire hour to an interview with a former Navy SEAL recounting the operation that killed Osama Bin Laden, was the 7th most-watched show of the week. The top six shows were wither football games, or pre- and post-football shows.

More than 12.3 million viewers watched Scott Pelley’s interview. That’s up +52% in viewers and up +55% in the A25-54 demo compared to the same night last year.

“60” went head-to-head with two of the top shows of the week, Sunday Night Football on NBC — which was the most-watched Sunday night NFL game ever — and the end of the 49ers-Packers late game on Fox.
