Was it the Amazon Octocopter or the down-to-the-wire Broncos-Chiefs lead-in?

Either way, “60 Minutes” is shaking off the bad publicity surrounding a discredited report earlier this fall by having its most-watched show since last December, when 19.6 million watched an abbreviated Dec. 16 episode.

Sunday’s show delivered 18.09m viewers, with a 5.2 rating / 12 share in the A25-54 demo. Compared to the same night last year, “60” was up +8% in households, +13% in adults 25-54, +18% in adults 18-49 and +12% in viewers.

The show, which was the night’s #1 program and the week’s #2 program in viewers, featured Charlie Rose’s interview with Jeff Bezos who unveiled the Amazon drone.
