’60 Minutes’ #5 For the Week With 17M Viewers

pelley 60 minutesWith an NFL playoff game as its lead-in and a newsbreaking segment about the Alex Rodriguez doping suspension, “60 Minutes” made the top five shows for the week in viewers, households and the A25-54 demographic.

The show averaged 17.06 million viewers and a 10.4/17 in households, placing fifth in both measurements. In the key A25-54 demographic, “60 Minutes” was fourth with a 5.2/11. It was also the show’s best performance in the A18-49 demo in more than a year (since 12/16/12).

Compared to the same week last year, “60 Minutes” was up +21% in both viewers and the A25-54 demographic and +17% in households.
