47,000 Sign White House Petition to have Piers Morgan Deported

By Chris Ariens

The White House is expected to respond to a petition calling for CNN host Piers Morgan to be deported. The petition, created Friday on the White House website, was in response to Morgan’s views on gun control. Last week he called a gun advocate appearing on his show an “unbelievably stupid man.” Here is the wording of the petition which, as of this writing, has 47,105 signatures.

British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment. We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens.

Morgan is not shying away from the attention. Monday afternoon, he Tweeted: “This is why I’m facing deportation from America,” with a link to a video from a town hall on guns that he hosted last week on CNN.
