When the Trump administration publicly denounced the bombshell excerpts from Michael Wolff’s tell-all, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, both author and publisher were thrilled.

“Where do I send a box of chocolates?” Wolff rhetorically asked NBC’s Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie during the first stop on his press tour.

There was seemingly no need for Henry Holt & Co., publisher of Fire and Fury, to figure out ways to drive sales and marketing for the book.
