United Stations Radio Networks announced Tuesday (June 1) Tony & Kris in the Morning to its syndication lineup, aiming to increase distribution show, currently cleared on eight Country stations.
After a successful run on KSON-FM and KUSS-FM in San Diego, the two Alabama hosts Tony Randall and Kris Rochester, formed Tony & Kris Productions and partnered with Cumulus Broadcasting, which airs the program on seven stations. An eighth affiliate not owned by Cumulus was recently signed.
“By adding the reach and network infrastructure of United Stations, we have real recipe for success and we’re extremely excited about extending the reach of our broadcast into as many new markets as possible,” said the duo in a prepared statement.
The program, based in Nashville, is USRN’s first morning show, rounding out USRN’s Country portfolio which includes The Country’s HotList with Shawn Parr, The Road, Thunder Road, Country Giants, 25 Years of Hits and The American Christian Music Review.
