Upfront TV: Outside CBS With Katz VP Bill Carroll

Mediaweek’s Marc Berman caught up with Katz Television Group vp Bill Carroll about CBS’ upfront presentation outside of the event. Could this be the strongest of all upfront presentations? Two of the new shows are joining the Monday lineup starting at 9:30 p.m., including the new sitcom Mike & Molly. Following at 10 p.m. is a remake of the 60’s-70’s classic Hawaii Five-O. Also included in their schedule are new drama, The Defenders, about Las Vegas defense attorneys; Blue Bloods, about a New York family of Irish cops; and a second sitcom $#*! My Dad Says, based on a Twitter feed by a man who tweets about the Archie Bunker-ish quips his father spouts.
