TNT will partner with Yellowbook in a multiplatform promotion during the cable network’s exclusive coverage of the NBA Western Conference Finals coverage beginning May 21, when the San Antonio Spurs meet the Los Angeles Lakers.
The promotion, Yellowbook’s Future Faces, will include a series of features on TNT and on the network’s broadband channel, TNT OvertTime on NBA.com, that will highlight young stars of the NBA, including players like Boston Celtics’ Rajon Rondo and Los Angeles Lakers’ Jordan Farmar.
Yellowbook will also sponsor TNT OverTime All-Access on NBA.com, an online video player that will provide four live streams, including Fans Choice Cameras, from inside the arena throughout each game of the series.
The two Fans Choice Cameras will follow chosen players on the court, on the bench or in the huddle. Other live camera feeds available online will include: Mosaic View, which will offer simultaneous camera angles on the screen at the same time; and Robo Camera, which will be a feed from one of the TNT cameras positioned within the arena.
“Our partnership with Yellowbook illustrates the expansive multiplatform experience that Turner Sports can offer, combining our technology with televised coverage to deliver unprecendented access,” said Trish Frohman, executive vp, ad sales and local ad sales for Turner Sports.
During the first two rounds of the NBA playoff coverage so far, TNT OverTime on NBA.com’s viewership of video streams has increased by 22 percent compared to the same period last year.
