Robert Richter was promoted Friday (Oct. 3) to senior vp of new media for LIN TV, from vp of Internet, a position he has held since 2006 when he joined the company.
Richter is credited with launching more than 50 Web sites for LIN TV, increasing impressions by 50 percent over the past year, as well as the average time spent on the Web sites by 140 percent.
In his new position, Richter will oversee all digital operations for the TV group, including interactive, mobile and new ventures.
