Former NBC Universal and AOL executive Randy Falco has joined Spanish-language media company Univision Communications as evp and chief operating officer, the company said today.
The COO post at Univision has been vacant since the retirement of Ray Rodriquez at the end of 2009.
Falco’s appointment is effective immediately. He will oversee all revenue-producing functions at Univision, including ad sales, distribution and affiliate relations, as well as the operations of the company’s television and radio station groups, corporate marketing, research and business development, the firm said.
