HBO‘s much-anticipated fantasy series Game of Thrones finally premieres April 17. Based on George R.R. Martin’s popular fantasy book series A Song of Fire and Ice, the story is set in a mythical kingdom, where an epic battle for power is taking place. Starring Sean Bean (The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring) and Peter Dinklage (Elf, The Station Agent), the effects-driven drama was shot on location in Northern Ireland and Malta, as well as the Paint Hall studio in Belfast, Ireland.
