Number of Unprepared DTV Homes Shrinking

As the June 12 deadline for the TV transition inches closer, the number of unprepared homes continues to shrink. As of April 12, 3.6 million households, or 3.2 percent of U.S. TV households are completely unready for DTV, according to Nielsen figures released Thursday (April 16).

That’s an improvement of more than 200,000 households in the two weeks since Nielsen last reported its DTV readiness figures.
