Mediaweek TV: Sons of Tucson

Although Fox continues to succeed with animated comedies, live-action sitcoms remain a sore spot for the network. So a lot is riding on Sons of Tucson.

Premiering Sunday, March 14, the live-action series is a twist on the traditional family comedy, in which Tyler Labine (The CW’s Reaper) plays a for-hire dad to three young brothers.

Mediaweek correspondent Alan Frutkin talks to executive producers Todd Holland and Justin Berfield about the show’s origins, its chance at success and the future of TV comedy in general.
