Sunday night’s third-season finale of Mad Men drew 2.32 million viewers, making it the most watched closing episode in the series’ history.
Per Nielsen ratings data, AMC saw a 33 percent lift versus the season two finale, which drew 1.75 million viewers on Oct. 26, 2008.
Titled “Sit Down. Have a Seat.,” the 39th episode of Mad Men averaged 1.24 million adults 25-54, up 56 percent from the year-ago finale. The capper also drew 1.12 million viewers 18-49, a 58 percent improvement.
