As expected, Chris “Mad Dog” Russo has landed a five-year contract with Sirius XM Radio, the satcaster announced Tuesday (Aug. 19). Russo, formerly one-half of the Mike and the Mad Dog Show on WFAN-AM, will headline a new sports Talk channel.
The five-year contract was reportedly worth about $15 million.
Beginning Sept. 15, Russo will host The Mad Dog Sports Show weekday afternoons from 2 to 7 p.m. ET on the newly-launched Mad Dog Radio channels on Sirius channel 123 and XM channel 144.
