Gregory Schmidt, LIN TV’s executive vp of digital media since 2006 and a long-time manager with LIN since 1995, is exiting the TV group Aug. 15 to take a position as chief executive officer for Global Translation Inc., a company in which LIN TV has an investment.
In addition to Schmidt, LIN TV also announced Wednesday (July 23) that its senior vp and chief financial office, Bart Catalane is resigning his post Aug. 20. Catalane has taken a position as CFO of webloyalty.com and will relocate to the New York area, where his family is based.
LIN TV is in the process of searching for a new CFO. In the interim, Vincent Sadusky, president and CEO, who held the position of CFO from 2004 to 2006, will take on those additional duties.
“I want to thank Bart and Greg for their leadership and hard work. They have made valuable contributions to the growth of our business and we wish them well in their future endeavors.
Both Bart and Greg have assembled vibrant and hard working teams at LIN TV, and those teams will be pursuing the financial and digital strategies that LIN TV is committed to as a company,” said Sadusky.
