Celebrity newsweekly vet Janice Min was named editorial director of The Hollywood Reporter in the latest top-level hire at the 80-year-old trade title following its recent acquisition by e5 Global Media.
 
e5 is a private-equity-backed firm that was formed with the purchase from the Nielsen Co. of THR and seven other brands including AdweekMedia, to which Adweek belongs.
 
Min served as editor-in-chief of Wenner Media’s Us Weekly from 2003-09, where she oversaw a sharp rise in circulation and won multiple industry awards, including Adweek’s Editor of the Year.
