Sling TV, a streaming cable service provider, just released some interesting statistics it learned from its subscribers this year.
Without releasing or discussing subscriber details, the service said that the number of hours streamed per day increased by 27 percent this year and Sling itself added 22 percent more channels and 92 percent more on-demand content.
With all those options available, which shows were the most popular among Sling TV subscribers in the United States? Based on total hours viewed, here are the top 10 shows:
1. Fixer Upper — HGTV
2. Law & Order Special Victims Unit — (reruns) USA Network
3. American Pickers — A&E
4. The Big Bang Theory — (reruns) TBS
5. The Walking Dead — AMC
6. House Hunters — HGTV
7. Property Brothers — HGTV
8. Impractical Jokers — TruTV
9. Live PD — A&E
10. Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives — Food Network
The final season of Fixer Upper premiered in November and was the most viewed show by Sling TV subscribers in 31 states. The Big Bang Theory was the second most popular series title as it was the most viewed show in 10 states.
