Sports broadcaster Kevin Harlan will join Boomer Esiason in the broadcast booth providing the play-by-play for Monday Night Football and Super Bowl XLV on Westwood One. He succeeds Marv Albert, who decided to shave his schedule after eight seasons.

Harlan is the fifth regular Monday Night Football play-by-play announcer since CBS Radio/Westwood One began broadcasting the games in 1978.

“Anyone who has ever heard Kevin call a game knows exactly why we are thrilled to add an announcer of his caliber to our NFL talent roster – full-time,” said Gary Schonfeld, president of Westwood One network.
