As development season kicks into high gear, Fox has three new projects in the works.
Shark creator Ian Biederman is developing a medical drama about a female heart surgeon who is schizophrenic. The project is from 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine TV.
Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader host Jeff Foxworthy is developing an animated sitcom about a dysfunctional southern family. Foxworthy, along with TBS’s 10 Items Or Less executive producers Nancy Hower and John Lehr, will write the pilot presentation, from Twentieth TV, Fox’s syndie arm, which also is behind 5th Grader’s upcoming syndie version.
