Ex-‘Apprentice’ Winner Rancic Gets Distribution for Show

Distributor Debmar-Mercury, home of The Wendy Williams Show and upcoming Jeremy Kyle, will distribute a daily half-hour version of current lifestyle weekly America Now, hosted by the winner of season one of The Apprentice Bill Rancic.

Produced by ITV Studios America and currently airing on 43 stations in all Racom Media markets, the lifestyle newsmagazine show with local appeal, utilizes the news resources of affiliates across the country. It premiered as an hour-long weekly in October 2010.

Of the proposed new first-run programming entries for fall 2011, four will officially be getting on the air: talkers Anderson from Warner Bros. and Jeremy Kyle from Demar-Mercury; dating/relationship half-hour Excused from CBS Television Distribution; and Who Wants to Date a Comedian from Entertainment Studios. Anderson, to date, leads the pack in clearances, with a reported 90 percent.
