Emmis Communications has promoted executive VP/CFO Patrick Walsh to COO while he retains his CFO title and duties. The 41-year-old Walsh will also now oversee all domestic radio while radio division president Rick Cummings “will remain with Emmis and focus once again on his passion as president of programming for Emmis Radio,” the company said Monday (Dec. 15). Walsh was also appointed to the company’s board of directors.
Walsh has been the CFO of the Indianapolis-based multi-media group since September 2002.
