A Web site that allows prospective college students to take virtual tours of campuses is making its first national TV buy, investing $500,000 in a cable push that begins today (Feb. 23).

CollegeClickTV.com will run prime-time and early fringe spots on ESPN and three cable news networks, including Fox News Channel (The O’Reilly Factor), CNN and CNBC (Mad Money, The Suze Ormond Show). The spots, which feature voiceovers recorded by President Barack Obama, are slated to run throughout the next 10 weeks.
